Alkali Activated Geomaterials - Research, Production and Utilization

Welcome on web sites of the international conference the Alkali Activated Materials - Research, Production and Utilization, which will take place in the Capital of the Czech Republic Prague, in Carolinum, the historical residence of Charles University, on June 21 - 22, 2007.

In accordance with the V.D. Glukhovsky State Scientific Research Institute for Binders and Materials (SRIBM), Kyiv, Ukraine and the Czech Development Agency (CDA), Prague, Czech Republic this conference is arranged as the Third International Conference of Alkali Activated Materials.

The conference follows the First and Second International Conference on Alkaline Cements and Concretes held in 1994 and 1999 at Kiev, Ukraine and is organized by CDA within the framework of the JPD 2 programme project “The Innovation and Information Centre of Geopolymer Technology Use in Prague and its Support of its Research” and in cooperation with SRIBM.

The project is financed from sources of the European Union – the European Regional Development Fund, state budget and the Prague City Hall.
